We would like to invite Jordanian host institutions to consider applying for the English Language Fellow program where you could host an English teacher from the United States at your school, university, or institution for an academic year, to work with you on enhancing your English program.Learn more about the program.
English Language (EL) Fellows are U.S. English language educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). EL Fellow projects are 10-month assignments at key host institutions overseas to promote English language learning. In addition to university-level teaching, EL Fellows can carry out such as teacher training, materials development, curriculum development, teacher training and outreach programming.
The host institution should have the institutional and human resources to make effective use of outside talent and ideas, to integrate foreign educators into its staff, to commit to some level of cost sharing, and fully committed to supporting the professional and personal needs of the EL Fellow.
Host institutions may be universities, teacher preparation and development centers, ministries of education, bi-national centers, or other tertiary-level institutions with significant English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programs.
EL Fellows have a minimum of a master’s degree in TESOL (or related field) and some teaching experience.

Applications for academic year 2016 -17 are due to the RELO office by October 1, 2015. The program is competitive. Awards are announced in June.
