Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation Announcement

The Embassy of the United States of America in Amman, Jordan has a requirement for a qualified Contractor to provide Health and Life Insurance Services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Amman, Jordan and their eligible dependents.

The anticipated performance is for a base period of 12 months and four one-year periods at the option of the U.S. government.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Amman, Jordan has a requirement for a qualified contractor to supply and deliver Air Conditioners to the U.S. Embassy Amman.

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Jordan will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov  prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

Enclosed is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for supplying and installing electric car chargers at the U.S. Embassy Amman, in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth herein.

Quotations are due by April 19, 2022 at 04:00 PM local timeQuotations must be submitted by email to AmmanRFQ@state.gov and be in the following format:

  • Subject line in the e-mail must include the RFQ number and company name.

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.237-1, Site Visit, The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference at site.

Prospective offerors should contact Yaser Belaidi at BelaidiYG@state.gov to provide company name, attendees’ names and national identification numbers no later than May 12, 2022 to make appropriate arrangements entering the building for the site visit, and only two representatives per company are allowed. All visitors are required to wear a face mask inside the Embassy compound, and face masks will be provided, upon request.
