Enclosed is a Request for Quotation (RFQ for the items/service requested).  Please submit your closed quotation by hand to the address shown on Standard Form 1449, attached hereto and ensure that you attach the completed/stamped Form to your proposal and submit at the U.S Embassy back gate addressed to Contracting Officer Mr. Ryan Hanlon.  Email quotations are accepted and to be sent to AmmanRFQ@state.gov.

The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation with the lowest price technically accepted.  We intend to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The Embassy of the United States of America requests you to provide a Price Quotation for One Vehicle Rental for 1 year for the American Embassy – Amman.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The United States Army Corps of Engineers has the requirement to Design and Construct Earthen Covered Magazines for the storage of MLRS Missiles. The scope of the work includes: two (2) Earthen Covered magazines for the storage of MLRS missiles, one (1) Rocket Pod inspection facility, one (1) forklift sunshade/charging station, two (2) guard tower, an Administrative Guard Building; associated hardstands, utilities and security fencing, security lighting, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and an asphalt access road. The location is an operating base south-east of Al Zarqa, Jordan and will remain operational during construction.
