U.S. citizens with inquiries may call us at (+962-6) 590-6950 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Outside of these hours please send us an email at amman-acs@state.gov.
The U.S. Embassy is aware that Royal Jordanian Airlines may be offering departure flights from Queen Alia International Airport during the next 10 days, some of which are transiting through Dubai and Istanbul. For all information about these special commercial flights, please contact the airlines directly. Flights are often announced at the last minute. Please be aware that different countries impose different requirements on entry and/or transit, and travelers should check carefully the U.S. Government’s websites on the respective countries’ transit and quarantine requirements. Additionally, per CDC guidelines, transit through certain countries will require self-quarantine upon arrival in the United States.
The U.S. Embassy in Amman continues to look at all options to support U.S. citizens in Jordan and notes that the availability of specific transportation options may change without notice.
