Message for U.S. Citizens: U.S. Embassy Closure During Upcoming Holidays.
In accordance with the Government of Jordan’s declared holidays, the Embassy will be closed in observance of Eid Al-Fitr and the 20th Anniversary of King Abdullah’s Ascension to the Throne from Tuesday, June 4, 2019 until Sunday, June 9, 2019. The Consular section will resume routine services on Monday, June 10, 2019.
Due to the lengthy closure, we are offering additional pick-up hours for passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad on Sunday, June 2 between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. as well as Monday, June 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m and again from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
