AQABA, Jordan – Secretary of Homeland Security John F. Kelly, on the first Cabinet-level visit to Jordan of the Trump administration, met with His Majesty King Abdullah to discuss bilateral relations and visited the Aqaba-Eilat border crossing.
Secretary Kelly’s visit and discussions highlighted the strong ties between the United States and Jordan, particularly in the area of security cooperation.
Secretary Kelly was briefed on the border tour by officials from the Public Security Directorate, focused on transportation and transnational border security.
