U.S. Embassy Statement

As part of the effort to reach the President’s goal of admitting at least 10,000 Syrian refugees to the United States by September 30, 2016, the United States has established a temporary refugee processing center near Amman. Operations are now underway. Access to the site is restricted by invitation to potential resettlement candidates. We are grateful to our Jordanian partners in making this possible and for their generosity in hosting Syrian refugees.
