Immigrant visa applicants are now required to submit the required documents in advance of their appointment dates. Failing to provide a complete document package in advance will delay visa processing.
If you do not provide a complete document package in advance of your appointment, your interview may be cancelled .
- A foreign citizen seeking an immigrant visa for employment must be sponsored by a prospective U.S. employer and be the beneficiary of an approved petition filed by the employer. Therefore the first step is filing a petition with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). For further information please see the USCIS website.
